SOR 91st Annual Meeting

The 91st Annual Meeting of the Society of Rheology took place in Raleigh NC, 20-24 October 2019. Lots of exciting discussions on the rheology of soft solids in all possible contexts.

Emanuela was one of the plenary speakers, with a talk on Rheology of gel networks: Softness, rigidity and failure.

Minaspi Bantawa gave a talk on The linear viscoelastic spectrum and non-affine rearrangements in soft particulate gels. This work is a collaboration with colleagues from MIT, French CNRS and Université Paris Sud.

Minaspi also presented a poster on Tunable rheology of mixed hydrogels with different interactions, a work in collaboration with the group of Bert Meijer (TU Eindhoven) and Dimitris Vlassopoulos (FORTH).
